Most of the students had similiar reasons as me to taking this course; to fulfill an elective requirement and to learn about the history of computer media.
As far as the use of media was concerned, there were many similarities between me and every student at the high level. Essentially everyone reported consuming some combination of television, social media, music, podcasts, video games, and messaging services. Specific web services such as Netflix, Facebook, and iMessage were frequently mentioned. However, the specific examples of these media were usually different; most other students do not watch the same shows or play the same games as I do.
